Bethia 101

Membership Luncheon Class

Bethia 101 is a “working” luncheon on the first Sunday in January, April, July and October.  These dates may change due to weather and other activities so RSVP by contacting Rev. Mylicia Markham cell/text at 387 2066 or email at

We meet just after 11:00 am service (around 12:30 p.m.) in SEED Hall, again unless weather or activities move us to a new location.

What is expected during this Membership Luncheon?  To enjoy lunch with fellow Christians as you learn of the ministries and history of Bethia United Methodist Church.

While enjoying lunch; learn about UMC History, Beliefs, 130 years of Bethia United Methodist Church History, our Programs, and Ministries.

After the luncheon you are not required to join but we know that you will feel at ‘home’ and we hope that God will move you to join us on the incredible journey of following Christ.

Why is it important to be a member in the church?  The church is not a building.  The church is the people of God.  It is a community who are called by God and have joined together to be the hands and feet of Jesus.  God has blessed you with many gifts and talents as you bless others through Christ’s church.

As a church, we also make a commitment to you. We commit to help you grow in Grace-a relationship with Jesus.  To reveal God’s Word through worship, study and example.  To care, serve and pray for you as you grow in your journey with God.

Please contact the office or Rev. Mylicia at for more details or to RSVP.
