We are preparing the topics for our weekly Wednesday night worship messages for 2020.  If you feel called to offer one or more messages for our Wednesday night worship, please email Jay Carey ( and he will forward you the list of topics, scripture reference and dates for 2020.  We have been blessed that over 50 different persons have offered messages during Wednesday night worship over the past 5 years and look forward to how the Holy Spirit will speak through many persons this year!

New Bible Study and Discipleship Classes for 2020


NEW JANUARY MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY STARTS JANUARY 13: EXPERIENCING GOD: Knowing & Doing the Will of God is a13-week study designed to help every student grow closer to God and become more aware of how God is at work all around us inviting us to live a more God-centered way of life. This video-based class combines a 2-hour weekly class meeting with daily quiet time and scripture reading assignments. The class will meet on Monday nights, starting with an orientation meeting on January 6th, in room #103 Monday nights from 7-9:00 pm. Jay Carey will lead the class. The cost is $17 for the work book and they will be available at the orientation class.

NEW THURSDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY STARTS JANUARY 9: THE HOLY SPIRIT: Remembering the 3rd person of the trinity. This 7-week class will use the book, Forgotten God by Francis Chan to examine how the Holy Spirit is at work in and through every Christian, growing, developing and transforming us into the disciple of Jesus Christ that we were created to be. The class will meet from 7:00 – 8:30 every Thursday night in room #103 starting January 9th. A brief orientation class will meet on January 2nd at 7:00 in room #103. Steve Hawkins and Jay Carey will lead the weekly discussion-based class.

NEW BIBLE TUESDAY NIGHT & SUNDAY AFTERNOON STUDY! Each class has a 30-minute DVD and discussion time following. For approximately 1-hour total. The Books may be downloaded or audio books available. Pastor Mylicia will lead the class. Please use the sign up insert in the bulletin or contact Pastor Mylicia. A Place Called Heaven Bible Study, By Dr Robert Jeffress. This Six week study will be DVD Driven and there are two opportunities: Sundays at 4PM in the Bethia House or Tuesdays 7PM in Room 215 (second floor). Classes begin Tuesday Jan 7th then Sunday Jan 12


SIGN LANGUAGE CLASS: Bethia Sign Class will begin again this Monday night, January 6 from 6pm-7pm. in room 215. This way anyone taking Pastor Jay’s class can go to that also. We welcome any who feels lead to come and join us for some fun with learning basic signs, sentences and short stories. We will be starting at the basic beginning making it easy for all. Look forward to some smiley faces on the 6th.

WEEKLY WORSHIP HELPER VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: This weekend’s bulletin includes our annual worship helper insert. Please pray about how God can you your gifts and graces to participate in the many places in each of our four weekend worship celebrations. We need ushers, scripture readers, affirmation and prayer leaders, prayer partners for each service, helpers with the PowerPoint and sound system as well as Bistro helpers and weekly volunteers for our Alpha & Omega Team to help open the church before worship and close the church following worship.

OFFERING ENVELOPES 2020: Bethia weekly offering envelopes for 2020 can be found on the tables in next to the mail folders in the Bistro area. Please pick up your box with your name. It is important that we use these envelopes when you bring your weekly offering, as it helps our Financial Secretary keep track of your giving for the year. If you do not see a box with your name on it or you would like to get a 2020 box please notify the church office and we will happily get one for you. If you are e-giving please let the church office know so we can reflect this in our records. or Email
